The Manaslu circuit trek is one of the classical trekking destinations with exclusive and untouched natural beauty. Manaslu Circuit trek was opened since 1992 for the travellers from worldwide which accomplishes north of the Himalayas and encircles the grand Manaslu and Himchuli. The massive Manaslu (8156m) is located at the east of Annapurna range is the 8th highest mountain in the world. During the Manaslu Circuit Trek, we get the chance to explore the Tibetan border region from Nepal side. During the trek we can experience the blend of Hindu and Buddhist culture as well as lifestyle. Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the difficult levelled trek which gives the feeling like of expedition and travellers get the chance to explore the off beaten trials along the beautiful pine, rhododendron forest and one of the highest pass – Larkya La Pass (5200 m.)

The journey around the isolated region offers a wonderful and thrilling experience through the high alpine and extravagant Himalayan tradition. The trek provides an exclusive experience to explore the nature as it is with the combination of rare species of flora and fauna, sumptuous traditions and excellent beauty along with the varied geographical features. The trek climbs through Buri Gandaki River and reaches Larkya La pass (5200 m) where magnificent views of Himchuli, Manaslu (8163m), Ganesh Himal and many other glistening white mountains can be spotted. The trek offers more than one path to decide from; one of the paths takes up to Manaslu Base Camp while next path enters the Marsyangdi valley through Larke La Pass in Annapurna region. Another possible choice leads to Dudh pokhari, a milky pond which is a harmonious sacred site for both Hindu and Buddhist devotees.

Arrival at Kathmandu airport, pick up by our correspondent and transfer to the hotel. (At the foot of the Himalayas, where they assure that their gods live, Nepal stands, a land of spectacular landscapes, temples and cities with a rich cultural heritage. These seem to transfer the traveler to medieval times on their walks through KATHMANDU, BHAKTAPUR and PATAN, the three urban cities that represent the backbone of the country. Stay overnight at hotel.

We will get visit the different places which are listed in UNESCO World Heritage Site: Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Boudhanath and Pashupatinath today. Stay overnight at hotel.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: (World Heritage Site): Kathmandu Durbar square is one of the popular place which is liked by many visitors due to its exquisite architecture and artistic embellishment. It consists of Huge Royal Palace with different temples dating back from the 15th to the 18th century. The house of the living goddess, the ferocious Kal Bhairav, the red monkey god, the Hanumandhokha palace, the Ashok Binayak temple, Kasthamandap, the Temple Taleju and hundreds of erotic carvings are some few examples of the sights at the square. All woodcarvings, statues and architecture in this area are exceptionally fine.

Swoyambhunath: Swoyambhunath is one of the most glorious Buddhist stupa. It is said to be 2000 years old. Swoyambhunath is, perhaps, the best place to observe the religious harmony in Nepal. The stupa is among the most ancient in this part of the world and it’s worshippers are diverse from Newar nuns, Tibetan monks and Brahman Priests to lay Buddhist and Hindus. Swoyambhunath provides an excellent view of the Kathmandu valley.

Bouddhanth: Boudhhanath stupa is one of the largest Buddhist stupa in the world. The Stupa 100 meters in diameter, was built on an octagonal base inset with prayer wheels by the Lichchivi King Mana Deva in the 15th century. The pinnacle of this stupa represent the stages of enlightenment, symbol of royalty, compassion, knowing and nirvana. There are many myths about the origins of the Stupa. Early morning and evening are the times to visit Bouddha to join the local residents in Kora. There is an enclosure with several monasteries of the different schools of Tibetan Buddhism.

Pashupatinath: Pashupatinath is one of the most sacred temples in Nepal. The temple of Pashupatinath is a large double roofed pagoda of brass and gilt gold; the gateway is plated with silver. There are linga images of Shiva along with statues, shrines and temples dedicated to other deities in the temple complex. There are rows of Shiva shrines and Hindu pilgrims from all over South Asia offering worship to Shiva, the Lord of Destruction. Entrance to the temple precinct is permitted to the Hindus only. However, visitors can clearly see the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the vantage point across the bank of the Bagmati River.

After breakfast we will go to Arughat Bazaar to continue to SetiKhola, in approximately 7 hours, from where we will begin the trek the next day. Seti Khola is a starting point for Tsum valley and Manaslu circuit trek. Stay overnight at lodge. 

This day it will take us about 6 hours to reach MachhaKholai, a village of the Gurung community that is one of the main ethnic groups in Nepal. Stay overnight at lodge. 

Today will be spent near the BudhiGandaki River, crossing the jungle where the “Sal tree” trees originating from Asia grow. After arrival at Tatopani, we can enjoy its hot springs to continue to Jagat in about 7 hours. Stay overnight at lodge.

This day we will pass several villages and cross the Budhi Gandaki River again on our way to Deng (7 hours). Along the way we can enjoy some very good views of the Shringi Himal. Stay overnight at lodge.

This day we will walk for about seven hours. We will walk along Budhigandaki river side, on the way we will cross few villages and suspension bridges over Budhi Gandaki River. Stay overnight at lodge.

This day we will walk through pine forest and cross suspension bridge over Budhi Gandaki river. We will cross several villages and terraced wheat and potato fields. After walking about seven hours from Namrung we will reach Samagaun from where we can see the good views of Manaslu Himalayan range. Stay overnight at lodge.

This day we will visit Monastery, Ice fall and lake, hike around the area. Stay overnight at lodge.

This day we will walk for about 3 hours. We will walk through slightly uphill trail to reach Samdo. Stay overnight at lodge.

This day we will walk for about 3 hours. Crossing few river streams in the afternoon we will reach Dharmasala. After having lunch stroll around the area, Stay overnight at lodge.

This day we will wake up early in the morning cross Larke Pass (5200 m), after that walk through downhill trail to Bhimtang. From the pass we can have beautiful panoramic views of Himlung, Annapurna II, Lamjung himal and many other mountains. We will have to walk for about seven hours to reach Bhimtang. Stay overnight at lodge.

This day we will walk through Rhododendron and pine forest, cross suspension bridges over Dudhkhola River and Marshyangdi River near Dharapani and after seven hours of walk reach Dharapani by the evening. Stay overnight at lodge.

After breakfast we will take jeep from Dharapani to Besisaghar which takes about 4 hours. We can take lunch in Besisahar and head towards Chitwan / Pokhara which are just 4 hours’ drive away or stay in Besisahar.  Stay overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we transfer by private vehicle to Kathmandu and transfer to the Hotel. We can either directly return back to Kathmandu or extend the tour to either Pokhara or Chitwan. Stay overnight at hotel.

We will do the sightseeing in Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Changunarayan which are listed in UNESCO World heritage site and then return back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

Patan Durbar Square: (World Heritage Site)

Patan Durbar square boasts of many famous sites and unique architectures. The major attractions of Patan Durbar Square are the stone temple of Lord Krishna, the Royal Bath with many carvings on stone, Viswanath temple and temple of Bhimsen with a magnificent golden balcony overlooking the square. Many more temple dedicated to Ganesh, the elephant-headed god, Shiva, Narsingh, Taleju and other are situated in the Patan Durbar Square.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square: Bhaktapur Durbar Square is one of the most charming Architectural showpieces of the valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The Square contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces like the Lion Gate, the statue of King Bhupatindra Malla, the Picture Gallery, the Golden Gate, the palaces of 55 windows, the Batsala temple and the bell of barking dog etc.

Changunarayan: The temple of Changunarayan is richly decorated with sculptures and carvings and is said to be the oldest pagoda style temple in the valley. The temple, built around the 3rd century, is decorated by some of the best samples of stone, wood and metal craft in the valley. The courtyard has many other temples such as that of Kiloswar Shiva, Chhinnmasta Devi and other figures like Garuda, Vishnu and other deities.

Enjoy your last day on Kathmandu before departure. At your mentioned departure time our correspondent will pick you up from hotel and transfer to airport and depart you with warm hearts.
